1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter - the "Policy") regulates the procedure for processing and protecting information that the User transmits when using the Cardix service (hereinafter - the "Service").

1.2. By using the Service, the User confirms his consent to the terms of the Policy. If the User does not agree with the terms, he must stop using the Service.

2. Information Collection

2.1. The Service collects and processes the following categories of data:

  • Postcard Content: uploaded images, text messages, sender and recipient names, dates and locations;
  • Technical Information: IP address, time of access, device information, operating system, browser data, and history of interactions with the Service;
  • Usage Data: postcard view statistics, creation time.

2.2. The Service does not require User registration, passport data, documents, email addresses or other personal information, except for the minimum necessary for creating a postcard.

3. Use of Information

3.1. The Service may use the information received solely for:

  • ensuring functionality (storing and displaying postcards);
  • processing payments for permanent postcards;
  • analysis and improvement of the Service.

4. Transfer of Information to Third Parties

4.1. The Administration does not transfer the received data to third parties, except in cases where:

  • it is required by law;
  • it is necessary to fulfill obligations to the User (e.g., payment systems for processing payments);
  • the User himself has given consent to this.

5. Data Storage and Protection

5.1. All user data is securely stored on servers located within the European Union (EU).

5.2. Postcards are stored for 14 days from creation, after which they are automatically deleted. Permanent postcards (paid) are stored indefinitely.

5.3. The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data, but does not guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the Internet.

6. Disclaimer

6.1. The User understands and agrees that the transmission of information over the Internet always involves risks.

6.2. The Administration is not responsible for the loss, theft or disclosure of data if this occurred through the fault of third parties or the User himself.

6.3. The postcard link is the only way to access it. The Administration cannot restore access to a postcard if the link has been lost.

7. Changes to the Policy

7.1. The Administration has the right to change the terms of the Policy without prior notice.

7.2. Continued use of the Service after changes are made means the User's agreement with the new version of the Policy.
